Job Description
The Role
The Project Manager will be accountable for the strategic planning and management of energy projects from inception through to successful completion. This role involves coordinating project teams and stakeholders, resources, and processes to ensure the delivery of projects in a safe manner, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with client objectives and specifications.
This position is ideally suited for an individual with a strong passion for project management, continuous improvement, and innovation with a track record in multidisciplined project delivery
This is a permanent full-time Monday-Friday role with an opportunity of a 9-day fortnight.
Desired Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage end to end project management processes.
Completion for quality assurance Project status reporting on milestones, deliverables, project budget forecasts and risks.
Project risk identification and management.
Management and tracking of project budget and schedule throughout a project
Ensure variations to budget, schedule or scope are managed and approved within agreed delegations.
Producing monthly reports for management outlining project progress and health.
Manage and monitor project activity through detailed plans, schedules and reports.
Manage confidently day to day stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally.
Provide design phase and construction phase programming services.
Foster a workplace culture of excellence, innovation, honesty, and teamwork.
About You:
Strong leadership, people management capability and conflict resolution abilities.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, influencing and communication skills.
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
Substantial experience in multi-disciplined project management roles.
Experience within the power generation or gas/hydrogen industry is preferred.
Formal project management training in PMBOK or PRINCE project execution methods.
