Job Description
Our Role:
As a result of our continued growth and expansion, we have a new opportunity for an Electrical Designer to support all aspects associated with power generation projects.
This role will be responsible for the coordination of all technical support aspects of projects including, but not limited to electrical design, interfacing with multidiscipline design team and assisting with the implementation and testing of high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Interface with current and potential clients and suppliers
Technical document creation, development, review and submission
Design reviews and drawing mark-ups
Compiling supporting documentation
Concept, technical, electrical, control system and software design
Project network/utility connection submissions
Energy modelling and analysis - site and workshop-based project support (FAT & SAT)
About you:
Electrical trade-based qualification with 2+ years of experience with the design and selection of electrical power systems experience
Strong communication and time management skills, conflict resolution abilities and confidence dealing with a wide range of people
Experience in managing the requirements of technical persons in facilitating a project (technical input and the management of technical risk)
Sound understanding of statutory and industry standards and specifications
