Job Description

The Role

As the Power Station Operations Supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and safety protocols of a group of allocated power station assets. This role ensures efficient production, compliance with regulatory requirements, and supports the maintenance team in troubleshooting, planning, and execution of repair and service activities.

This role is on a 15:13 roster. Point of hire is Perth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating labour resources.
  • Oversea the procurement and delivery of materials, plant and equipment.
  • Manage safety, performance, reliability, and budget to ensure KPI’s are met
  • Complete reporting as required by the Manager and General Manager
  • Ensure all scheduled maintenance is executed as planned
  • Resolve all alarms and breakdowns with outcomes reported
  • Develop site team capabilities through targeted training
  • Encourage continuous improvement initiatives through individual and team engagement
  • Lead and provide technical guidance and support to team as required

 

Desired Skills and Experience

About You:

  • Trade qualified – Electrical or Mechanical
  • Substantial knowledge and experience in Power Generation operations
  • Exposure to renewable technology advantageous
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing diverse teams
  • Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • A strong understanding of Safety Management systems and associated legislative requirements
