Job Description
The Role
We are looking for an Injury Management Advisor who will coordinate and oversee the injury management processes within Pacific Energy. This role’s focus will be facilitating a seamless and efficient return to work journey for employees who have been injured. This role will be conversant with relevant legislation and foster our culture of safety and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Case management – manage, develop and coordinate all injury cases ensuring that individuals needs are met and aligned with medical, rehabilitation and insurance requirements
Compliance and Documentation – ensure that injury management activities are compliant with legislation, records are saved and accurate and relevant documentation is submitted to regulatory bodies and insurance providers.
Communication and Liaison –be the focal point for injured employees by providing guidance and support but also for internal and external stakeholders who will assist in the rehabilitation and wellbeing of the individual
Education and Training – conduct training and education sessions coupled with the creation of material on injury prevention and return to work procedures
Program development – develop and apply lessons learned in the injury management and return to work programs, as well as provide analytical reports based on injury data and trends
Support and Advocacy- provide and promote a positive approach to those that are injured in their journey back into the workforce.
About You:
Tertiary qualification in health or related field
Experience in injury management and case management
Strong experience in legislation and regulatory requirements
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate and partner with internal and external stake holders
Commitment to the wellbeing of all individuals
