Job Description
The Role As a Commissioning Electrician you will be responsible for commissioning activities of our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Stand-Alone Power Systems, and large-scale solar systems including detailed reporting of these activities with a focus on continuous improvement.
This role is based in our industry leading test facility, 38 hour per week with an opportunity to develop into a subject matter expert of BESS equipment. It is a highly technical role where you will need to be solution focused and proficient with IT equipment and software.
Key Responsibilities:
Programming and configuration of control components within the BESS
Provision testing
Completing ITR’s
Fault finding on electrical systems
Management of technical documents
Review specifications
Liaise with multiple teams, both internally and externally
Assist with transportation of BESS to site
Carry out Site Acceptance Testing
Desired Skills and Experience
About You:
WA Electrical Licence
Experience in commissioning or BESS desirable
Experience with SCADA desirable
HV Switching ticket advantageous
Strong written and verbal skills
Computer literacy
Knowledge of safety guidelines and regulations
