As a Commissioning Electrician, you’ll be at the forefront of powering change—bringing Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Stand-Alone Power Systems, and large-scale solar projects online. Your hands-on work will ensure these systems are safe, efficient, and ready to perform. Through detailed reporting and a focus on continuous improvement, you’ll help shape a smarter, cleaner energy future.
Desired Skills and Experience
BE part of the change
To be part of the change this role will:
Perform end-to-end commissioning of electrical systems including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Stand-Alone Power Systems, and large-scale solar installations.
Verify system functionality, safety, and compliance with design specifications and standards.
Conduct electrical testing, fault finding, and diagnostics to ensure optimal system performance.
Complete detailed commissioning reports, including test results, system configurations, and any deviations from plans.
Work closely with project engineers, site supervisors, and other trades to ensure smooth commissioning processes.
BE this person
As part of the solution, you will have:
WA Electrical Licence
Experience in commissioning or BESS desirable
Experience with SCADA desirable
HV Switching ticket advantageous
Strong written and verbal skills
Computer literacy
Knowledge of safety guidelines and regulations
