Job Description
As the Senior Manager – Organisational Development you will be responsible for leading and delivering Pacific Energy’s organisational development strategy, driving a high-performing, values-led, and future-ready workforce.
This role oversees enterprise-wide initiatives across organisational design, workforce planning, leadership development, learning, and change management, ensuring alignment with strategic and sustainability objectives. Working closely with the P&C Leadership Team and People and Culture Business Partners, the position translates strategic priorities into practical, scalable people solutions that enhance organisational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the P&C Leadership Team to translate business strategy into an integrated organisational development roadmap, covering organisational design, capability uplift, and cultural transformation.
Lead culture diagnostics, embed frameworks, and change management practices that strengthen leadership capability, behaviours, cross-functional effectiveness, and successful adoption of enterprise initiatives.
Oversee succession planning, role architecture, and high-potential talent development initiatives to strengthen talent pipelines, enable career progression, and build organisational capability.
Drive strategic workforce planning, identifying critical roles, capability gaps, workforce risks, and implementing build, borrow, and buy talent strategies to support business needs.
Develop and embed leadership capability frameworks, designing and delivering blended development programs across all leadership levels that build future-focused capabilities, including digital fluency, data literacy, sustainability, inclusive leadership and safety leadership.
Establish and govern enterprise learning strategies, ensuring alignment with organisational capability priorities while driving consistent, high-quality outcomes.
Advance the evolution of performance and development frameworks, integrating contemporary practices and leveraging data-driven insights to inform recognition, progression, and talent engagement improvements.
Desired Skills and Experience
About you
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Development, or related discipline
Demonstrated experience in a Learning and Development or Organisational Development leadership role.
Proven ability to translate business strategy into impactful organisational development initiatives
Experience in leading large-scale change initiatives across a multi-site business
Advanced stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at senior level
Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills, supported by a solid understanding of adult learning principles.
